The US Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) issued the HIPAA Privacy Rule to implement the requirements of HIPAA. The HIPAA Security Rule protects a subset of information covered by the Privacy Rule."

      • HIPAA Privacy Rule

        • "The Privacy Rule standards address the use and disclosure of individuals’ health information (known as “protected health information”) by entities subject to the Privacy Rule. These individuals and organizations are called “covered entities.” The Privacy Rule also contains standards for individuals’ rights to understand and control how their health information is used. A major goal of the Privacy Rule is to ensure that individuals’ health information is properly protected while allowing the flow of health information needed to provide and promote high quality health care and to protect the public’s health and well-being. The Privacy Rule strikes a balance that permits important uses of information while protecting the privacy of people who seek care and healing."

      • HIPAA Security Rule

        • "While the HIPAA Privacy Rule safeguards protected health information (PHI), the Security Rule protects a subset of information covered by the Privacy Rule. • Covered entities should rely on professional ethics and best judgment when considering requests for these permissive uses and disclosures.

  • Description of Services

    • Massage Over Matter LLC is the highest-rated concierge provider of manual therapy services in Florida. All services are strictly professional and performed by licensed and insured providers. Massage Over Matter LLC will provide all appropriate equipment necessary for the service including: chair/table, linens, music, aromatherapy, lotion/oil, topical creams, kinisio-tape, modality-specific equipment, etc.

    • The LMT will arrive at the requested location approximately 15 minutes before the appointment time for client assessment and equipment setup. Service time starts when therapy begins, as determined by the LMT; this is typically after the client is laying on the table and the LMT has started manipulating tissues. The LMT may also determine the session has started by leading/guiding the client through active and/or passive ranges of motion designed to evaluate and alleviate areas of discomfort.

    • "Deep Tissue" refers to a corrective modality/technique, NOT the amount of pressure used during manipulation. Deep Tissue massage is generally NOT a full-body service; it focuses on the area of restriction/discomfort. If there is time for additional therapy, the LMT may decide to provide at their discretion.

    • BioEnergetic WellNES System services may be performed in-person or via distance/remote conferencing using the Ring Central platform (similar to Zoom)
